What is your favorite brand of detergent?

I have an he machine so I have to use HE detergent. My other machine was ruined because I used to much soap in it. I learned a valuable lesson and started using HE. I like All HE but Tide HE is my fav.

Just curious what everyone else likes.

Tide, I grew up using it, tried other brands and have always gone back to tide.

I use Purex Free and Clear, or else I make my own.

Tide liquid. I've tried other brands, they just don't work with our hard water.

Darlene, when we lived in Northern Ont. I used Arm & Hammer all the time and with great success.

Tide liquid is my favorite, but, most recently I bought Cheer since I didn't have any Tide coupons.

I make my own powder or use Dr. Bronner's liquid castile soap.

I only use Tide liquid & Downey liquid. I do keep some dryer sheets for when Jim does laundry.

I have no outside lines, so everything is done in the dryer.

It may be a slight pricier than Tide, but it is worth it! It's this company called The Laundress and they make these specialty detergents (and a bunch of other stuff, I havn't yet tried.) I especially like their Whites detergent and Wool and Cashmere wash. The Whites truly keeps my whites...white. When I was an Au Pair in London, I brought over a gift basket of their stuff and got the family hooked on the stain solution. You can get it on the web too, which is nice.

I prefer a homemade liquid to all others but when I don't have time to whip up a batch like this week, I use whatever is cheap and then I use oxiclean with it.
