what appliances do you keep out on the counters?

Toaster, Cuisinart, KitchenAid, and more recently, the coffee maker (dh has decided he needs coffee now...after 33 years) are always out.

Out are the can opener, toaster, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, & microwave. Rest are in a closet.

The toaster is the only one that stays out. The rest are in a corner cupboard with a lazy susan in it.

We have our electric kettle on the counter all the time.

Oh my <lowers head in shame>, my counters are full of stuff. KitchenAid, coffee maker, Brita, scales, toaster, knife block, bread container, slicer, paper towel holder, veggie plate, salt and pepper mills and a little "odds and ends" basket.
There is no room in my cabinets for these things, though, and we *do* use them all. Well, maybe not the meat slicer all that much, but the rest is in regular use.
