<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Do you use kitchen cannisters? I haven't used them in years. I do have one for tea and have been using the new domino sugar that comes in a cannister.

Not exactly canisters, but I keep my flour and sugar in some wide mouth gallon jars my sister gave me. She use to buy coffee in them.

I save large jars and store my rice, pasta, beans, sugar, and tea in them just like my paternal Grandma used to do. They're kept in my pantry.

No I don't. I use recycled jars for most things, even in the bathroom and bedrooms.

Yes I do. I have 8 on my counter, all Pfaltzgraph Folk Art Pattern given to me when Jack & I got married almost 22 years ago. One corner(& easier to get at) of a counter has flour, sugar, tea & coffee. Another has bread flour, rice, elbow mac & popcorn kernals.

Many moons ago I made a set in ceramics class. They are sitting on top of my kitchen cabinets looking pretty now (until it's time again for a scrub), but my staples are inside the cabinets in Tupperware and other recycled containers.
