how many years to keep old clothes?

<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->lol Seriously now...we have many articles of clothing here that need to be purged. I'm a bit annoyed that I gave away some fat clothes before I was pregnant. grrr Now that I have had the baby and need to lose this weight, I have very few fat clothes.

I'm wanting to purge, but don't want to make the same mistakes I seem to make with tossing out clothing.

How long do you keep old clothing or clothing that doesn't fit?

I keep things WAY too long, so I guess I really don't have a good answer for you. I have things that I haven't worn in about five years, yet I'm still hesitant to get rid of them, just in case I might want them again in the future. Isn't that silly?

My next decluttering goal in my house is to purge all the old clothes from my closet. That will be a major project!
