<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->too much stuff or too little space? It used to be too little space for me, but it's definitely become too much junk.

After being here for 10.5 yrs, I'd say it's a little of both. I am far better at decluttering my things than Dave is with his. We're currently being overrun in the basement by his plants & their supplies.

I got rid of a ton of my fabric, and I'm going to be selling a bunch more after the holidays when things settle down some. That was my clutter. Too bad I can't get Dave to declutter his movies and plant stuff.

The kids have a snow day today, and I'm thinking it would be a great day for them to declutter their toys & books. We purged the toy box in L's room over the summer, so that shouldn't be too bad. And her school is having a book swap right before Christmas break, so I'm sure we could bring some of their books there too.

It's pretty bad that we can rent a mini dumpster sometimes twice a year and fill it with clutter. My mom and I went through so much last year and I think I could easily toss just as much again this spring.

Too little space. I have hardly any closets and the ones we do have are tiny. When they built these old houses, they didn't use closets.

I used to think it was to little space. But as I have gotten older I have realized I just have to much stuff. Now I am not the best at letting go of stuff but I have been slowly cleaning out. I still have a lot more to go but I am making progress. With that being said, I believe every house needs a room, at least 10X10, that is just for storage. ( I wish)
