Lol. Mine is in the linen closet with the iron. We visit every once in a blue moon. Thank goodness for permanent press clothing.

Same here, our "family room" just happens to have turned into ds's den. However, TV entertainment is supplied there as well.
Since I usually iron my things right out of the dryer or off the line, I no longer have to find several shows in a row that I enjoy. These days a sit-com or BBC news half hour will do. I also have my sewing area in the same corner, so I can sit down immediately and fix whatever comes across that ironing board damaged.

How funny. My sewing area is there too. lol

I iron 6 days a week. Not tons of stuff. I just iron my husband's work clothes for the following day and mine and the kids if needed. Some of my daughter's skirts wrinkle up even straight out of the dryer and some of my clothes just look sloppy unless pressed.

I used to iron much more than now, but not anymore.

Mine is in the linen closet, also. I wish it could have a permanent set up, I'd definately use it more.

Well, ironing isn't my fave chore, and with a chronically bad back I can't stand for too long, but everyone around here loves ironed pillow covers, and table linen doesn't look so great unironed either. There aren't too many clothes around here that need ironing. I throw them all in the dryer for 10-15 mins before hanging them up.
Every day I do a laundry job, whether that's washing, ironing or mending. It doesn't count until it's in the dressers, though.LOL That way I am always caught up.
Yesterday the paper napkins ran out and instead of putting them on the shopping list I hauled out our cloth ones, fed them through cute bow tie holders which were only used for company until now. This means a little more ironing, but will diminish that grocery bill.
