Does anyone have any summer goals that they are planning on working toward over the next month or two?
I have a few small goals and some larger ones. Here's an example of each:
Small goal: Read at least two books this summer. (No small feat with 3 kids under 5)
Large goal: Send out 5 more query letters for my novel by the end of July.
Mostly just getting the house organized and a few updates. We have a goal of putting our house up for sale and purchasing a new one. Might not happen for a year, but we're working toward it.

My mission~ reading more, losing weight & enjoying the heck out of life. Just want to gloat in the light of feeling good about everything. I've been making positive changes and just want them to carry over to other things. :)

Darlene, I love your goals. I would love to have some of that positive energy!
I also plan on just enjoying my time this summer. We have had a rough year with our adoption stuff and DH's dad dying, and problems with his family. To top that off, I have been working way over 40 hours a week. So, beginning next I am cutting my hours from 40+ to 25 a week. I just purchased a keyboard so I hope to learn how to play better. I am going to work on just being a wife and I am constantly working on making my home more comfortable and peaceful. I am going to be doing some voice coaching for a girl at my church who wants to try out for her school musical. I'm really looking forward to that. I want to start quilting. I would also like to read more.
Wow, it sounds like I have enough to keep me busy for the rest of the year. :D

Get the house organized since DH is going back to work. He has been playing Mr. Mom and put everything up to his liking. So now have to get it back to mine.
Other than that I am going to try to enjoy the summer.

Well, with the new baby coming so much earlier than expected, my summer plans have changed quite a bit.
Now my July goals are to:
--clean out our master bedroom walk-in closet and purge all of my old clothes
--finish the baby's room (wallpaper border)
--figure out the finances/ baby sitting arrangements
I'm hoping to get all of that done by the end of July. It doesn't sound like much, but, with the way life is right now, going back and forth to the hospital daily, it will be an accomplishment if I can finish all of it by then.
To get organized, lots of family time, read books (I love to read) and Like Darlene said "enjoying the heck out of life":D

Since we are in the middle of a remodel my goals are to have the kitchen and pantry done ASAP, because not having any counter top space is getting old real fast.

My summer goals include:
1) Getting the house organized and decluttered before school starts in September.
2) Mastering the art of staying within my grocery budget!
3) Learning some new and delicious frugal recipes
4) Listen to the whole series of the Financial Peace University CD's
I think that's it for now....that's a handfull!!!!

I enjoyed reading your summer goals so much! I thought I'd try setting Fall ones (my summer ones got derailed due to wierd medical events, so many are still here). My goals include:
Finish unpacking from moving.
Reduce closet requirement to reasonable level (more on this later)
Develop a habit of cooking dinner just for me
Lose 25 pounds (I already lost 8, but set the goal at the beginning of September)
REALLY pay attention to health issues, not just give lip service to them
