Right now I have about ½ a top done for a quilt and yesterday I cut out all the fabric to make placemats for my mil for Mom's day. Today I need to get up there and get them put together. Then I have to do the same for my mom.

I am also planning a family reunion (dad's side) in early August and would like to make a quilt to raffle off to help fray the costs.

So I need to get cracking here! :D

I'm thinking about quilting! ROFL!

I have been collecting Hawaiian print fabrics (shirts, dresses from yard sales, etc.) to use to make a quilt for ds's bed. I was actually going to just make a duvet cover, but have decided now I really want something lightweight he can use the majority of the year so I'm planning on doing a ragged homespun quilt instead. I still need a lot more fabric, but I could go ahead and start making all the squares if I would just sit down and do it.

Well you know that I am. I'm working on a hug quilt and I'm also working on blocks for dd's wedding quilt. And I want to start a baby quilt for a friend. I have the material, I just need to pick out a pattern.

Right now, all I have going are small quilts made of pre-stamped fabrics and such (baby/toddler blankets). I do paint quilt squares for very pretty tops for kids and adults. I have a craft corner at my big website (for Bible and religion research) and also at my penpal website.

I collect patterns and books.

I'm just teaching myself how to quilt now. Slow and steady. I bought a baby quilt panel and it turned out very nice. Now I'm trying to put together the small pieces and make one from scratch.

Bright Blessings!
