I bought two kitchen aid bread pans and they're great. :) Anyone else use their pans?

smnoel, what makes them different from regular pans?

The shape is slightly different and they have over sized rolled rims. Makes them have more heft and easier to handle. You can use metal utensils on them and don't have to grease the pans.

My next pan will be the meatloaf pan. It's a nice two piece loaf pan.

The cookie pan is really neat. One side has a nice edge for handling and the other side is flat to easily slide cookies off.

We are talking Silicone ones then? A couple of years ago I bought a Tupperware one, used it once. But when the sponge cake didn't come out easily I packed it away and went back to my old trusted metal spring forms.
It's too bad, because that thing wasn't cheap and I assume neither was the KitchenAid one, but I am very glad it is working for you.

Does anyone else use the Tupperware type and getting along with them? I'd like to know what I did wrong.

I've never used the KA ones or the silicone ones, but they sound interesting!

As you know, I will be shopping for new pans after our Pyrex incident last night. I'm going to look into the KA pans but wanted to mention that I was able to get a great deal on a set of Caphalon cookie sheets that I think have the rolled rims that you're talking about above. I'll see if I can find online pics in a bit.

After doing a search to see what KA's cookie pans look like, I realize that they're not as similar as I thought.

Here is a picture of the set I bought.

I've found KA items to be some of the best.
