In your bedroom or on your tables or are they too old fashioned for you?

I love crocheting doilies and used to have them everywhere, but got tired of picking them up off the floor every morning. LOL I think they just set off a table, they are so lacy and delicate looking.

I do still keep one on the dining room table, but I got smart and put it under a clear plastic covering. ;)

I don't use them. It's not that they're too old fashioned for me, they're just not my style.

I like them and don't think they're too old fashioned. I haven't used any in a long time though. I had hoped to try and crochet some, but never seem to get to it.

I use them everywhere and don't think they are too old fashioned at all. I'm always on the hunt for them at thrift or antique stores.

I LOVE doilies and do think that they are old fashioned, but that is my whole point! I crochet too, but have never been able to handle the filet kind. I do have a few tho made with regular yarn. I love lace and frills!

I have 3 doilies in my living room that my grandma made for me before I was married. They are very special to me as grandma died 7 years ago. I remember her and the special times we've shared everytime I look at them.

I don't have any doilies, but I use old vintage hankies instead. I put them under jar candles, etc.

When my mom cleaned out her attic, she found some old yellow doilies, and gave them to me. I have them in one of my bedrooms. I love they way they look in there, but wouldn't want them in my whole house. It's just not the "style" of the rest of the house.

Nope. I've made a few though.

Almost all of mine were my grandmothers. I use them in the bedroom and have one under a lamp on the kitchen counter,a couple on shelves in the living room and one on a shelf in the master bath. I also have a large one that I sometimes use on the kitchen table. I love the cozy, old fashioned feeling I get when I look at them and that they remind me of Mamaw :)
