Defrosting the freezer: how do I

get all the ice & water out of the bottom of my chest freezer if it has no drain? :confused:

We use a shop vac to get ours out, handy thing to have. Picik out the big chunks and suck up the rest. Other than that all I can suggest is bailing, then towels. Happy freezer you've got there. :)

I was wishing we had a shopvac!
We ended up scooping out as much as we could, then sopping up the rest with old towels. Next time I will NOT wait so long to defrost it! We've had it at least 2 years and this is the first time I've done it :o

I need to do the deep freeze. I dread it almost as much as cleaning the fridge.

Can't I just chunck them and get new and start over?????oh come on please....
