You can also search for the manufacturer - I "rescued" a bread machine from the dumpster last year, and went online and found all sorts of manuals, just not the one for the model I picked up. I called customer service and they laughed (I guess my model was pretty old) but they did email me a copy of the manual. I printed it out and put it in the cookbook next to my bread machine receipes.
