I love the list of pantry essentials. I feel like I'm still struggling to maintain a stocked pantry...even after all these years of living on my own. That's partly due to finances and the skyrocketing prices of food, but it's also due to just not knowing what to stock. My mother never had a stocked pantry either (I suspect this was because she was very, very poor growing up).

I am always low on baking essentials. Except sugar. *sigh* I have to have it for coffee, so always have a huge amount on hand. I keep a decent amount of canned supplies and staples such as rice, condiments, peanut butter, pasta. In an ideal world, I'd have a huge walk in pantry fully stocked like a small grocery store. :D
