Years ago, dh and the 3 older kids and myself lived in a tiny home. We had a bathroom, one bedroom and living room/kitchen combined. The kids were small enough they all slept in one room and dh and I used a hide-a-bed in the living room that took up almost the whole room.

Funny though our kids didn't notice the size. They still talk about that house and always remember the clawtooth bathtub you could almost swim in.

We have fond memories of that home.

I lived in a one bedroom house, tiny kitchen, living room, utility room, bath. People had to go through bedroom and kitchen to get to bathroom.

I would say pretty much the one we are in now!

Just under 800 square feet into which is squeezed 3 small bedrooms a kitchen a Bathroom a small toilet & sink in what is really a small cupboard LOL a living room, in which we also have our dining table.

The garage is detached but still pretty small.

No basement, no attic,& sadly no ( much wanted) laundry Room :(

BUT, we like it and small is beautiful ;)

When we were first married we rented a small 1 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms. It had been remodeled which added a sort of office/family room with a second bathroom and with the laundry area in a closet. All told it had 4 rooms not counting the baths -- living/dining room, tiny galley kitchen, bedroom, and office.

My apartment in college was a 1 bdrm., 1 bath with an eat-in kitchen and living room.

On Maui we lived in 2 different condos. The first was a 1 bdrm., 2 bath, kitchen and living/dining combo. The second was a 2bdrm., 2 bath, tiny ktichen, living/dining combo.

Looking back, they were all probably roughly the same sq. footage (have no idea what #'s those were though).

I would say the apartment we are in now. It's a 600 sq ft apt - 1 BD/1BA. We have more than half of our belongings in storage.

Our apartment was a one bedroom, one bath, tiny kitchen and a living room. The only closet we had was the bedroom closet. That would be the smallest place we ever lived. When we moved into our first house, we thought it was huge even though it was under 1200 sq. ft. :D

I had a studio apartment in grad school that was a little over 200 square feet. I shared it with one cat, and had a radio. You know, I remember those days fondly!
