Our living room and both entrances face south.
Yours?
You're making me think on an empty stomach. :D
Our house faces south. It's not a sunny house. :( I guess the good thing is we don't bake in the summer, but we just don't get the bright sunlight in most of the rooms here either.

Our front entry/living room faces west. Our kitchen and dining room face east.
Ours is the opposite of Kim's. Entry and living room facing east and kitchen and dining room facing west. We get the sun from the moment it rises until it sets. Great in the winter but not so great during the heat of summer.
Front (lr and 2 bedrooms) of the house faces north, kitchen faces east so I get the morning sun, dining room and master bedroom faces west.

Oh my gosh I'm so bad with directions. I think my livingroom window faces east.

The front of my house faces west. My kitchen window faces north. I get the morning sun in the back of the house. The problem here is when the sun sets, it is in everyone's eyes in the livingroom.

We have 2 back doors on the south, both off enclosed porches. Paul uses one for storage of building materials, lawn mowers, etc. The other as storage for car tools and products and bikes.
The front door is on NE corner....living room has 2 big plate glass windows opening onto the enclosed porch covering the N and E sides of house (kids play porch and storage).

The house faces north with a large front porch, but the entrance that is used the most is the side entrance (east) through a small open porch, and comes into the dining/living room. We have a back door out of the kitchen, (south side) but right now it is not used until we rebuild our back porch.
The dining end of our big room has a sort of square bay window with a window seat (Craftsman style house) that gets wonderful southern sun in the winter. The OLD maple tree on this side of the house shades us beautifully in the summer. Our big barn is also on the south side of the house.
The window over the kitchen sink gets west sun, which can be a pain in the summer, but we just keep the shades closed in the afternoon. These windows look out over our side yard, a little wet weather stream, and an overgrown orchard which the deer like to be in.

My front entrance faces the east. The back entrance faces west, which is the one that we always use because it is near the driveway and opens into a tiled mudroom so no tracking dirt into my new house.

Our home faces east. On the east side of the house is the kitchen (southeast.....which goes most of the way to the back of the house) and the livingroom (northeast) And upstairs our bedroom faces east and so does Delaney's room.

Our front door faces easy and back of house is west facing. We get the morning sun in the front of the house which is nice but the kitchen gets warm in the evening with the evening sun shining directly in. I would love to put awnings up over our kitchen/dining room windows someday.
