These are your best friends. I'm telling you...if you've got a spot you need to organize anything in your home, use clear plastic containers or baskets. Under the bathroom sink to organize personal items, in the playroom to organize toys, in the entertainment center to organize cd's or movies, etc. You can get them cheaply at Target or Walmart, and I promise you, you will feel more organized just driving them home in your car! :D

Having too little chest-of-drawer space, and plenty of under-lavatory-cabinet space, I use clear shoeboxes under the lavatory to store my underwear, bras, and socks. Since I usually prefer to get dressed in the bathroom after my shower, it's right where I need it.

Great idea! I hadn't thought of using plastic bins. I have a small built in cabinet in my bathroom but it's a very inefficient space with only 2 very deep shelves. Everytime I try to get something out from the back I knock down everything in the front. Storage bins with lids that I can stack would be a good solution.

i was thinking of using them in the kids' rooms. especailly dd's. over spring break i want to clean up the house and get things organized some. i have shelves i can use in dd's room and i was thinking we could put her things into clear plastic shoeboxes and sweater size containers with labels. she could read the label and see what's inside.

i gave my youngest my three clear drawer this weekend for his room. there is tiny shelfs on the inside of his closet and no room to put a medium size bureau. So he has hid underwearr, socks and gym clothes in there . Now it leaves more room on the shelves for his pants and tshirts. On the other side is his sweaters and long sleeve shirts hanged up.
