I have mismatched sets over here. I even have my disney forks and spoons from when I was a kid.

Nothing matches in my kitchen, be it silverware or dishes. The only things that do are my good china set.

Oh my no. Thinking maybe I know someone who really has been good & maybe needs a pretty good set instead of the one she's mish mashed together over the years. Know someone too that is just starting out who would love a little piece of home with her.;) Hmm...

Hahaha... Most of my silverware is either mismatched inherited sets or ones I get from the dollar store.

Are you joking? Mine was a wedding gift 27+ years ago. I don't know where the pieces have disappeared to, but I'm guessing they have been thrown away accidentally. When we got desperate because we were always short of spoons, we bought an el cheapo set as a supplement at WalMart.
My silverware, on the otherhand, is inherited from my grandmother to my mother to me. I don't think the set is complete anymore, but it's close. Its for SPECIAL occasions and holidays.

Nope. I have four plates that are off-white with a navy stripe, and I have 4 plates that are a denim blue. I'm not crazy over the blueness of it though. I saw the most beautiful set of dishes at work the other day and they were heavy stoneware and were red on the inside and black on the out. I adore them and can't wait to save up some $$$ and buy them! I think I want them for my anniversary. Problem is, they're $50 for a 4 pc. set and I want an 8 pc. set!!! *gulp* We'll have to see.
Bright Blessings!

No matching anything here either!!! I am thrilled that I have what I have and it isn't broken or bent!!! I do have a set of nice silverware that we got as a wedding gift 20 years ago but it is all still packed in the original packing and in the silver keeper box it came in!!! We don't use it!

Heck no LOL...I don't even really have an expensive set. I think the most we ever spent on a set was like $40 or so. I've gotten lots of my silverware from auctions where someone was just looking to get rid of them, and I got a bunch of forks or spoons banded together with an elastic. Ran those babies through the dishwasher and was good to go :D
