I found the best fabric for my living and dinning room areas on sale at Hancock fabrics. It was still expensive but it goes so well with my new French Country look and much cheaper than store bought curtains and the quality of this fabric is onderful!
It is a tan and robins egg blue paisley on a creamy background. I only bought enough to make lined cafe curtains across the tops of my windows.
I have 2 inch wood blinds for privacy and I have walmart cream sheets of the back linings for a professional look. I think curtains shold look as good outside the house as well as from the inside.
Now if I could just get in there and sew them lol!
Whi else makes their own curtains and soft furnashings??
