View Full Version : what types of window treatments do you have?
Our office, and my son's and daughter's rooms have valances. All other windows are bare. Oops scratch that. I have a curtain in one bathroom. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate that. LOL
I never would have guessed at age 39, I'd live in a curtain-less home. Fortunately, our windows are huge with panes and don't look completely lame without any.

Well, we just moved into this house back in April and I haven't done anything with the windows, yet.
The sellers left their window treatments up and while they are defiantely dated, I haven't invested any money into new ones.
I seriously need to though, all the bedrooms have those older roller type blinds and they are all broken, so you can't get them to go up.
I also have a HUGE picture window in my den that I really need to buy actual curtains for, right now it has a reeeeeally long swage type thing that she has draped across the top.
In blue with magnolias?? I'm a very neutral colored person and I don't do flowers.
So um yeah, those will the first to go!:D

I have horizontal mini blinds in every window except for the slider in the kitchen, and the big windows (1 in the kitchen and 1 in the living room). I hate them. :banghead:
I hate window treatments in general. Hate trying to figure out what works, what looks good, etc. Hate them. Hate, hate, hate them. Got that? :couch:
