chocolate spoons. When we went downtown for the pumpkin festival, one of the local businesses gave chocolate spoons as their treat. My kids wanted to eat them. LOL So, I let them. They both LOVED them. I didn't have it in me to tell them they were to stir in cocoa or coffee. I was thinking I'd make some this year as a surprise.

I say that I'm going to make them every year for Christmas gifts, and I forget every year LOL

My kids would love them too...and I bet they'd get a kick out of using them in hot chocolate. Lauren "drinks" hers by using a spoon as it is any way

I've got to push myself harder this year to do things. I need to make more than buy this year. I am thinking about making Ally and Miranda story sacks. I can use books we already have. I don't have the desire to make cloth tote bags, but I can check the thrift store for some. I can use some of the toys we already have, print some things and then add some more to it from the dollar store. I just need to get organized.

I thought of you when I saw this earlier, Sara.

I have the ingredients, except for the spoons. Usually it's the other way around LOL

Our library just got a grant for story sacks and then we made them. One of the patrons sewed up some bags (real quck and easy to do) and then bought things from the Dollar store or Value Village. They turned out perfect and are a BIG HIT. I'm sure your kids would love them.
