We have a thrift store in our small town. Actually it isn't a thrift store, it's thrift store items that are sold at the local hardware store. I haven't been in there for quite some time, however decided to go in there today.

For $4.00 I got:
6 Christmas placemats
1 Christmas apron (which I'll take apart and use the material for quilting)
1 pot holder
1 cloth Christmas bag (again will take apart for quilting)
1 Christmas table runner

Dd is always looking for things where she can use the material to make her doll clothes with. She loves the idea of making something with something that is old.

She got:
a set of bedroom curtains (pretty mint colors) for $0. She was thrilled.

Overall it was a good day.

Very good deals. I like Christmas linens. I saw a cute table runner at the store, but too fancy for here. LOL It was snowflakes connected in a row. I wouldn't normally like that type, but it was different.

I love snowflake themed Christmas stuff....I am slowly collecting blue, white, and silver holiday pieces/linens--even better if they've got a snowflake theme :)

I don't have a good thrift store around here, unfortunately. The only one I know of is about 25 min away, and it's always so dirty and junky.

I love things with snowflakes on. I wish I could find more quilting material with snowflakes.
