WHERE do you do most of your reading?

I read mostly in bed. When I sit to read on the couch I always see something that has to be done so up I get... :rolleyes:

Most of my reading is done late at night on my comfy rocking chair with a small light on. I love reading late into the night. Its just so peaceful and quiet. With only a small light on I can see what I need to do. :D

Most of my reading of books by FV guest authors is in the livingroom and on the couch. Any other reading, I am in bed and read a few pages and go to sleep. :)

Mostly on my big, fluffy couch. Otherwise, at work on my lunch break. :)

Usually the only time I read is right before bed, in bed. Reading makes me tired no matter how good the book is.

I'll read just about anywhere I can find a minutes peace and quiet - snuggled up on the couch, in my bed, in the car while waiting for something, or at the dining room table. Fav spot though is out on my front porch looking at the hummingbirds and relaxing with a glass of tea.

I read in bed too. I put in my ear plugs every night, read my devotional and then hit the current novel. Right now I am reading Bryson City Tales.

I read before I go to bed too. If a book really moves me I'll read it in any room at any chance i get.:)

It depends. My favourite place to read is either on my bed or outside on the deck. Somedays are so busy driving my family around and waiting that I do a fair amount of reading in the car.

This sounds like my mother! She tells a story of lying on a bed and patting a baby (my oldest brother) to sleep while she read a book or magazine.

DH and I have a big ol' comfy chair that we set up a reading lamp right next to. That's my favorite reading spot. Gimme a blanket, a good book and a cup of cocoa and I'm in heaven! :D

My favourite place to read is in my outdoor chair on the patio with my feet up! But not much more of that for a while I'm afraid as it is coming into winter now and it's raining and going to get worse! :(

But if I have to read indoors then my armchair is the place, although if it's just a magazine or the newspaper it's usually at the table.

I made a special "reading place" for me when we got rid of the fishtank. I brought in a glider chair and glider footstool, put a lamp up next to it, and set a quilt there. I love my little spot. There is always a book sitting on the chair wiating for me to grab a few minutes.

I used to read in bed in the evening, but I find that, now, after only a page or 2, my eyelids are so heavy that I can't focus anymore! So, I've become an early bird and sit out on the back porch with my cup of coffee (heaven!) before the house gets stirring.

I really LOVE to read!! Oh, and of course I do alot of cyberspace-reading, just like right now! :)
