lucky bamboo?

Does anyone own a lucky bamboo? I haven't purchased one since it's just one of those "things" that I initially viewed as not really my thing. It seems everywhere I look I see these things. Last month I almost bought one because it was in the cutest container and just looked so nice. I thought it would be a nice office plant.

Curious who owns one and if they like it, killed it, or think they're ugly..whatever. :D

I think they are neat looking and I usually love the containers they are in. I haven't purchased one yet but I have looked at them several times.

I have 2 of the bamboo plants. I like them. They are super easy to care for. Just put rocks in the container to hold them up and water once a week or so. Nothing to it.

My mom had some and gave them to me when they had to get rid of their second house in bankruptcy. They sold a lot off too though.
