I have 2 girls in this age group...well, one will be later this month.
My youngest, Jadzia, is almost 5 and was in 4 year old program this year and head start (due to speach delay) for 4 semesters before that (only half day for headstart).
My older girl has vision troubles and had to repeat 1st grade this year. Brandi is doing much better and maturing though and I believe made it to 2nd. There are less than 3 full weeks of school left. They are anxious to get to sleep late and play over the summer.
Their Dad and I are getting together a bunch of presents to wrap and give them a little celebration for finishing the school year.
I also have a son by my first marriage. Brandon will be 21 this month (May 2005) and lives with my ex husband. He normally works in heating and air, but is currently looking for a new job. His boss got lung cancer and closed his business.
