......I know that the Flylady advocates taking a day off from everything but the basic stuff. Do you do it? I am trying to make Wednesdays my day off, but am feeling guilty about it. Maybe once I am not working these 2 PT jobs and feeling the pinch to work on my house every other spare moment, I won't feel so guilty.

Yes Cheryl I do. I found its really important to have a day or two a month when I don't do a thing but relax and enjoy the day.
Don't feel guilty because you want to do that. Enjoy your Wed. Everything will still be there tomorrow.
Have fun today!!

You know, this is one of the reasons I have given up my PT jobs at the church. A couple of weeks ago we were at church for 7 hours!!! I told DH I thought Sundays were supposed to be a day of rest.

Yes, I take days off all the time. I do a little each day, but some days when there are enough left overs so I don't have to cook, and the house is still looking spify, I just plop down and read a book for hours. I love it, I need it, it keeps me sane. :)

Think about it...men who work get days off from everything. Why shouldn't a housewife?

Ah yes, but my man thinks I spend my days watching soap operas and eating bon bons! Who needs a day off from a cushy job like that????
Yes I do and quite frequently I might add! :D

I live on a small farm, SO works 3 days a week but I have barn chores to do everyday.
I do however just sit back every once in awhile after chores and read or
just do nothing.

Yes, and maybe a little too often. And it doesn't make any sense either because all I do is worry about what I *should* be doing. LOL

Absolutely! I try and do all my cleaning and errands Sat. morning, so I have Sat and Sun all to myself. I read, go out, bake, paint my nails - whatever I feel like doing.

I try to............not as often as I should!! I work hard to get stuff done during the week so I can take it easy on the weekends but that doesn't happen often enough!
