I have done quite a lot of ebay selling as well as some craft sales.
On ebay, I did a lot of fossil business with my younger brother. He supplied, I sold and we split the profits.
I've sold a lot of beaded Indian jewelry and also dolls and a few quilts (painted) in the craft department.

I sold on ebay and did craft sales too, but not recently. I've considered selling children's clothing because I have so much here just sitting in boxes.
Fossils had to be neat to sell. I knew a guy that sold geodes and quartz.

There was a guy here in Oklahoma that was building a mosasaur to sell to a museum. He paid $279 for one bag of about 8 mosasaur vertebrae we had. He bought a lot more also.
Mosasaurs are giant crocodile like dinosaurs. You can see some in the movie Dinotopia.
We sold a lot of other fossils, too. I still have a few of them.

Where did your brother get the fossils?

What part of Oklahoma do you live in, Debbie? My husband grew up north and west of Tulsa (mostly).

Our family has had a lifetime hobby of archaeology and geology. We have been or are involved with several archaeology or palentology groups.
My brother is a volunteer curator/arranger for a museum in Dallas and is part of the Dallas Paleontological Society (in Texas, USA). He writes much of the articles for their publication.
The fossils have been gathered all over OK and TX mostly with some being gotten on field trips to other states. My brother also leads field trips different places.
