We have a big garden spot on the North side of our house right where I can sit on my enclosed porch and look at it.
This year we have sweet banana peppers, some onions, about 18 tomato plants, a lot of squash and zucchini. No okra this year. Last year, we also had corn, but it didn't do well. Okra is kind of painful and scratchy to pick so Paul didn't want any. It is cheap enough we can buy it if we want some.
I love the squashes though.
I think we'll put in some egg plant if we can find plants at this late date. We had frost alert the end of April, this late in the year.
We also have a peach tree we put in the second year we were here. Last year, the branches bent and had to be braced from the weight of the fruits. We're going to try to make better use of it this year.

No veggie gardens here, but a good start to some nice flower gardens.

Oh yes!
We have, so far, asparagus, collards, lettuce, beets, kale, swiss chard, onions, spinach, peas, and potatoes.
Hopefully this weekend we will be able to plant corn and maybe even the tomatoes and peppers. We will also put out, sometime, some sweet potatoes and maybe green beans (but after canning bushels full of green beans my dad grew we are still leary of them). And zuchinni, cucumbers, melons, pumpkins and squash. MAYBE okra.....

Currently we have sweet corn, Italian parsley, roma tomatoes, burbank tomatoes, sweet basil, zucchini, squash, radishes, chantenay carrots, bush blue lake beans, Kentucky wonder beans, broccoli, sunflowers, coriander, black seeded simpson lettuce, buttercrunch lettuce, romaine lettuce, sugar snap peas, cilantro, and cucumbers. We also have a valencia orange tree and a myers lemon tree. There are also some wild blackberries I discovered up by our front gate, but something keeps eating them. Okra will be our summer crop.

What size is your garden? You must have a big one??? We are in town and ours is about 36' X 25' or so.

We actually have two -- one is closer to the house and has the asparagus and the beets, collards, lettuce, etc. It is the small garden -- and I'm guessing it is 15x15?. The stuff I have planted there is limited to smaller rows/groups. And it is crammed together! Intensive may be a better word.
The bigger garden is behind our barn and is probably about 25x25 (??). It is where we will have the larger plantings --- tomatoes, corn, etc.

Yes, we planted a garden. So far we have....tomatoes, okra, green peppers, watermelon......that's all I believe. Going to add green beans, onions, corn, cucumbers this week. I also have strawberries and blackberries that I hope will produce this year.
We have 4 types of tomatoes, bush cucumbers and vine cucumbers, green beans, squash, pumpkins, goards, zucchini, green peppers and banana peppers already planted. Still need to get the canteloupe, watermelon and crowder peas planted. We also have wild blackberries all over the place. We have cherry, plum, peach, apple, and pear trees. We also have blueberries trying to produce and several fig bushes.
