We used to have a big 25 gallon tank. We moved from my parents' trailer into our own (before we got this house) and they all died. We didn't refurbish it before we had kids. They have had small 1 gallon goldfish tanks (didn't fare well) and the small beta also. They just kill them. So we are done until they are older and safe on them.
We had fresh water tank: tropical fish and gold fish. We also had some locally caught perch and small catfish also.
A saltwater tank would be neat, but much harder to maintain.

We have a 30 gallon (I think..might be bigger) and had fresh water fish for a while, but the kids messed with the tank too often, so we tore it all down and it's sitting downstairs waiting for new fish again someday.

We dont now,but we use to.
I worked at a place called Blue Springs Fish Hatchery. They sell fish to Wal-Mart and pet stores. I got a discount for buying fish,so we got Ashley(she was maybe 3) a small tank and some fish.I worked 2nd shift and fell asleep oneday. When I woke up she had scooped all but maybe 2 inches of water out onto the carpet. She had 2 fish in a little kid size play dish, and the rocks EVERYWHERE!! I was SO mad....I picked up the entire tank and threw it out the front door LOL Steve came home and asked "what happened"...I was like..."don't even ask...."
Steve wants a tank now....I say NO! LOL!!!
My sister had a salt water tank and it was beautful!

We don't but we use to when we lived in Ontario.
Here the water is so hard its hard to keep the fish alive. Someday though I'd love to have salt water fish. I love their color and their beauty.
Watching fish in an aquariam is so relaxing.

We JUST got rid of our tank this month. We have had a 55 gallon with oscars in it, and BF never cleaned it out, so it was always my job. I wanted it gone for about the past year now, and finally got my wish when we installed new carpet. Sold the tank and stand for 50 bucks thru the newspaper. Maybe in a few years I'll be ready for another one.

We have a tank with one catfish and some kind of striped fish that DD#1 brought home from school at the end of last year. While we were in NJ, I forgot that I turned the furnace off before we went. It got cold and the algae eater died. I thought it was pretty doggone ugly anyway, but now the tank is gross.
NO, with 13 cats, I don't think they would fare too well in this house! :D

Right now I have a small 2 gallon tank with goldfish in it that my kids won at the school carnival. But before kids DH and I had a 20 gallon saltwater tank. That was easier for me to take care of then the freshwater one. I miss it now, I miss the starfish. I would love to put the goldfish in the 20 gallon tank. But I cant lift it out of storage and DH wont get it out for me, LOL. Oh well..

It's a hexagonal tank, we have 1 angel fish that is now 4 years old, 2 mollies, 2 mickey mouse platys, 4 tetras, and 2 algae eater... I have a tube that makes the tank easy to clean, sucks up the water and then puts the water back in, no more buckets :D

We used to have a 55 gallon tank full of Cichlids. Now that Dave is more into plants (and we have less time), he uses the tank as a terrarium. Someday I hope to have a small salt water tank :)
