Do they scare you or do you like them?
We had a lot of non-poisonous snakes as pets as a kid...mostly ones we caught around ourselves. My sister had a western ribbon snake named Ribo that she even slept with in her room. It was killed by our pet turtle who didn't like snakes and bit it in half in the pen outside one day. She left him there while at school.
