I collect flamingos and scottie dogs, and they are sprinkled around my home. But the one thing I collect and display in one place are my Willow Creek angels. I started by asking my mom for the Mother and Daughter set for Christmas one year. It has blossomed and they adorn my fireplace mantle, with candles and a flower arrangement my late Daddy gave me for my birthday one year.
I don't collect anything anymore, but used to collect tons. I still have a depression glass collection and a teapot collection, but have sold off most everything else.
I'd like a nice cookbook collection and want the Trixie Belden series for Alexandra to read. Not many other things I want to collect anymore. I used to have so many collectibles, but now I have convinced myself that one of an item is ok. :D Nothing against collections. I just have changed and become a minimalist.

I collect books and Bibles, but they are not really displayed. I do have several huge display shelves from my parents getting rid of a lot of their stuff. It mainly has ocean/sea things and Mexican things in it plus my bamboo plants and some Oriental stuff.

I don't collect much anymore either. I use to collect tea cups and porcelain dolls. Now I will puchase a doll if its antique. Other than that I'm trying to find old quilts.
I gave most of my tea cups to my oldest dd.

I collect brass cauldrons -- so far I have four. They were all found at yard sales for $2 (not all at the same place, but ironically all at the same price) and were all horribly tarnished. But a bit of vinegar and salt got 'em all scrubbied and cleaned up nice. :D I have them displayed on my mantle (no fireplace, but mantle).
I also collect the "Redwall" series by Brian Jaques. What a beautiful series of of novels, an excellent series for older children and young-at-heart adults. I am collecting them now for myself to read and intend to read them to my future children. :)
Bright Blessings!

When I was younger I used to collect Ducks ( not real ones sadly!) Then when I got a bit older I developed a passion for Roosters....I think a theme was emerging here ;) LOL
Then I got a few Tea Cups & Saucers which I love(ed) BUT...............I now live in an Adult Sized Dolls House :D so I just collect Money :D when you live in a small space it is a constant battle between "cosy" & "cluttered", so with the help of Don Aslett ( I think his book should be read by eveyone over the age of 16!!!!!!!!!) we aim to strike a happy medium and so I don't collect anything anymore, I am more likely to be offering people things I want to get rid of ;)

My collections I actually display are my Blue & white china (select pieces hanging on the wall) and my tea cup & saucer collection. I keep them pared down though, and don't display everything. Just enough to remind me of things I love.

I collect and display Staffordshire dog figurines. I also collect Old World and funky Santa Clauses which I bring out every Christmas. I have over 100 Santas.
