Are all your canning supplies ready for this year's canning

I was just thinking yesterday I need to get them organized and see what new supplies I need for this year. Strawberries will be soon here and I want to make jam. My plan is to check everything out over the next couple days.

Well.....no......not ready. Guess I better make sure I have everything before the season gets here! No doubt I need a new rubber seal for my canner as well as jar lids!

I know that I need to buy more jars. I like the small ones for jam since the quart is too much to eat at once, and I tend to waste the bottom stuff.
I also need to go buy pectin and sugar - and come to think of it, I think my mom has all my stuff at her house. I'm cleaning my kitchen right now, so when I hit that cupboard I'll find out for sure!!

I still have strawberry jam so this year I'm freezing all I go and pick. I have plenty of jars but need to pick up sugar and vinegar for later in the season. Have to check my spices too for pickling.
