It was horrible when we lived in Winnipeg. The jets flight path was often over our home. I hated the noise.

There were a couple of other areas in Winnipeg that planes had to fly over as well and homes that lived right near the airport. I always wondered how they survived the noise.

Not as bad as it was before we moved last year. We are near a small local airport so we do have small planes flying near (not directly over us). On rare occasion some military aircraft will come zooming over (there's an air force base in our county).

At our last house we were quite near a large airport (but not a major one like Orlando or Atlanta). We were most definitely in the flight path there and I hated the noise. Sometimes plans would be so low coming in for landing that you would think they were going to land on the house!

We get a lot of planes overhead, but are not near an airport so it's not bad. There is an army base to one side (about 40 miles away) and an airforce base and international airport about 55 miles away the other side. We hear artillary sometimes.

The house we lived in before we bought this one was in a flight path for the local airport. We were nearly knocked out of bed our first morning by the noise of the jet overhead.

We did get used to the sound after a while.

no thank goodness. But I guess you would get used to it eventually . . .

It depends. Sometimes we are on the approach to Charlotte Douglas airport. I guess ite depends on which runways they are using. What bothers me more is that a lot of times we are on the flight path for the little commuter airport near here. Those little props and jets make a lot of noise and I am forever afraid one of them is going to crash into the house!

Our small airport is about 20 miles from us. It isn't loud or anything but we do get planes, military aircraft and helicopters overhead daily.

The Tri-Cities airport is about 8 miles away so we are contantly seeing and hearing planes. It doesn't seem as bad now, I guess we've gotten use to it.
