Basic cooking tools

I'd be lost without my paring, bread & chefs knives and a nice cutting board.
What do you consider basic tools?

My steak knives, cutting boards, whisk, table-top mixer, veggie peeler, mixing bowls, and my tupperware containers

I need some good knives. LOL

But spatulas and large spoons and such plus pans. I have kind of a good selection now.

My whisk, my veggie peeler, my super-delux can opener and my favorite white plastic spoon. Almost anything else, I can handle, but when that can opener broke two years ago (don't ask me how!) I ran right out and bought another one. $15 yes, but it's the best thing ever!
