Planning a weekend away

I am planning a weekend away with DH in a few weeks. I think we are going to Cherokee, NC and take the Great Smoky Mountain Railway trip. We need time away for just us. Seems like we never talk anymore. :(

I know how you feel. All we have to talk about are problems: money, kids, home repair and cleaning, cars, etc.

Recently, we did take our first overnight trip alone together since we had kids. We left the girls overnight with his sister in law and her 3 grandkids she is raising and we stayed overnight in OK City. We went to some movies ate supper and breakfast out, looked in the mall, etc. It was nice. We plan to do it again sometime.
