I walk and bike, but mainly in warmer weather. I don't do much in winter months except walk around Wal Mart or Dollar Stores.

I used to be much more into exercise. The nice weather has hit and I plan to get this last amount of excess poundage off. I always feel great when I exercise. It's just a matter of making the time for it.

I'm signed up for the May Challenge on the Frugal Village to get 30 minutes in every day -- or 900 minutes in the month. So far I've got in 90 minutes. I try to walk as often as I can.

In the winter, I don't do anything except gain weight.

I don't exercise intentionally. I get plenty of exercise though just working up a sweat doing yard and garden work and walking on the beach.

I exercise several times a week by dancing for half an hour to some upbeat music!

I have decided to be more active, not to "excerise" per se. I have walked during lunch every day this week and rode my bike the past two nights. I will be doing something tonight. I want to lose 5 lbs, but mostly just firm up a few areas, so I will also be practiting portion control the rest of this month.

We belonged to the Y for awhile (Bob gets a discount from his employer) but it was still a stretch on our budget. There were also cleanliness issues plus the inconvenience of having to drive there.

We dropped the Y when we moved to a new apartment across the street from a lake/wildlife area and now we go over there and walk. Short walks a couple of times during the week then on Sat. we get up early and do the whole trail -- around the lake.

There is a small fitness room in our complex. During the winter when the weather was bad I walked on the treadmill.

I definitely don't go overboard on the whole fitness/exercise thing, but the one thing I really miss about the Y is the weight machines. I had this strange sense of power when I was using them.

Well since posting this life has changed......I don't belong to Curves anymore but I am taking an aquafit class at the YMCA 5 days a week and swimming for 30 minutes after each class so I am getting in lots of exercise now!:D
