Does your DH/SO call you a lot during the day?

Mine calls several times a day to chat or mostly to see if I'm on the computer or doing housework. LOL

Gabe calls usually twice. Once during the day and once before he is leaving. Usually to let me know he's on his way or so I can mention if I need anything on his way home.

I call him sometimes to remind him of appts.

When Paige was first born and he would be at work he would call every few hours to check on his girls. Now he usually calls when he needs me to run an errand and when he is on his way home so I can bring the dog inside and open the gate for him.

Doug usually calls on his lunch break and before he leaves incase I need something at the store thats acrossed from where he works.

Rarely, Jack is delivering the mail and not in an office. He will call from the office before he starts his route if he's going to be really late though.

no, never. We work opposite shifts (me days, him afternoons) so I call him during my lunch (when I have a free minute), and I call him again when he gets off work (if I'm still awake). I can't wait for the day when we are on the same shifts.

Nope...I'm a teacher, so I can't take calls.

He does e-mail me, though, as soon as he gets to work to let me know how the daycare drop-off went with the kids. He knows it's important to me and so he's pretty good about it.

Dh will call me sometimes but only if I have been gone to my parents and he is checking to see if we made it back alright or if he needs me to do something for him. Like Kat, dh called every few hours the first few weeks after ds was born...then it was once a night.....now its only if we were gone when he left for work.

Once in awhile dh will call during the day, not every day though. Since I work 2nd shift and he works 1st, I usually call him every night when I'm at work

Malcom usually calls every few hours but more when he is deployed. I would wonder what is wrong if he stopped calling.

only on my days off if he needs me to do something. sometimes i'll call him on my day off to see if we can have lunch together. i'll call him if something has gone wrong like today when the washing machine died.

If my DH calls twice a week, it is a miracle. He is just too busy at work. (Think overworked, doing more than one job since the lay-offs two years ago.)

Yes.........a lot!!!! :) And he works very close to home so he stops by the house on occassion and calls me and asks me to meet him for lunch or coffee too!!! Some days he calls more often then others but he calls me a lot!!!!

DH calls me during his lunch hour and on his way home from work to see if I need him to pick anything up.

We e-mail a lot when he's at work, and we call a lot when he's home/I'm working or vice versa.

Only on his way home--he's not allowed to use the phone at work for personal calls, ever. It's weird because his whole office abides by the rule too.

No he doesn't, unless it is to see if the kids are in bed, the house is getting cleaned, is the laundry done yet, etc, etc, etc.... He works nights and I don't work... He never calls to just say hi or love ya.. I wish he did though...

My BF never calls me during the day - as I wrote above. Well one day he called and I answerd "what do you want?"
"how do you know I want something?"
"You only call when you need me to do something for you"
It wasn't accusortory - just matter of factly said.
Since then he calls me EVERY day just to say hi. (sometimes twice a day)

Sometimes dh calls me several times a day. Other days not at all. It just depends on how busy he is. He works about 5 min. away and comes home on his lunch break.
