You just have to have to make curtains with?

A couple years ago I picked up a beautiful piece of fabric for 50¢ at a yard sale. I knew I wanted to make curtains with it. Instead, this year when I redid our bedroom, I used it to cover these two chairs.

The first chair I picked up at a yard sale for $2.00. My great aunt use to have one and I always remember sitting on it and trying all her perfume.

The second one I picked up at a different yard sale for $4.00. I just recently found out its called a "child's chair". I always wondered why the legs were so short.

I've got a bunch of Hawaiin stuff that was only 50c a yard. It is pretty thick/heavy though. I haven't sewed them up but have them draped over curtain rods in our bedroom covering the windows. I have bought new curtains for our bedroom, but we need blinds installed first before they will work (see through in the middle section).

Love those chairs CJ and the fabric is beautiful! That first chair looks like it may have gone to a ladies dressing table at one time? :)

Your right Dee. The doll is an antique doll from Holland I found at at antique store a number of years ago when we were on holidays.

Those are lovely. I bought some sage green fabric to make a curtain to go behind our bed (decorative), but now I think I might make panels for our bedroom window instead.
