Just ignore them. Most times I just ignore it. Guess thats why a couple times I've had clothes shrink when they shouldn't have been washed in hot water. :D

I ignore them for the most part too LOL. Only if when I feel the fabric and I'm not quite sure, I will check the label, that is if it is still there! I hate labels in my clothing and usually cut them out! :D

I recently started paying close attention to my care labels. After washing a load of clothes in warm water that were supposed to be, I noticed they came out cleaner. I felt like going DUH! :p

I usually ignore them. Most everything gets washed in cold anyway, and hung to dry.

Me too! I hate it when they make me itch.

I usually try to pay attention to them if it is something 'nicer'. Most everything we own is warm wash, tumble dry. I do wash most of my hand washables or dry cleanable stuff in gentle and hang to dry. ThenI tumble of air only to get the wrinkles out.

I ignore, too. I don't buy anything that needs unusual care though. Nor do I even own an iron.

I ignore them, except when it is dry clean only - then I hand wash lol.

It's been easier since I quit smoking since stuff dont' smell as much :D

Most of the time I ignor them, however the things that are dry clean only I still wash them...then I hang them up to dry.

I had one of those Dryell bags to do your own dry cleaning at home but I think that was one of the things that got tossed in the move last year.

I think care label would come under the heading of "instructions" and I just don't "do" instructions :D ......I suspect it is an allergy ;)

I follow the tag for things I want to last. For dd's play clothes I pretty much wash warm no matter what. I wash things that say Handwash in my washer on my easiest/lowest setting and hang (or lay) them to dry. I try not to buy anything that's dry clean only.

LOL Karen, I like your way of thinking. ;)

I tend to ignore them unless it is something I know for sure needs special care!!

Most of my clothing requires the same care, so I really only look if it's something dressy or a fabric that I don't usually have.

Here's a handy dandy link on fabric care symbols.

I mostly skip them. I'm pretty ginger in handling my better fabrics (which I don't have that many) anyway.
