Your own groceries?

At Superstore you have to bag your own groceries. At Sobey's and Safeway, they bag them for you. Not sure what Walmart's policy will be once the superstore is opened in Brandon.

I only have to bag my own at Aldi's, everywhere else including Wal*Mart bags them for you.

Nope. But if we had to I wouldn't mind. I had a lady yesterday put hot dog buns in the same bag with a box of Kool-Aid Juice Boxes. So glad I paid attention or I would've had flat buns!

We don't have to bag, but now they have these new bag carousels and the cashiers just stand there when they're done bagging, so I assume we're supposed to load our own carts. They used to have separate baggers that loaded the cart.

Our Walmart has the bag carousels too and yep you grab them & put them in your cart. Price Chopper still has baggers that pack & load. Bj's you need to grab boxes or bring your own bags.

Everywhere we go they are bagged for us. They have the carousels at walmart, They still bag them all you have to do is pick up the bag.

No, every store here bags for you. WalMart here has the carousels as well - some cashiers expect you to pick up the bags and put them in your cart, some put the bags in your cart for you.

If the health food store is especially swamped at the time I'm checking out, I will often help bag my purchases.

I only bag if there isn't a bagger there to do it. I watch them carefully too. I don't like to have my fruit or other foods mixed in with cleaners and that sort of thing.

We have the carousels at our Wal Mart too, and the cashiers usually take the bags off for us--though I don't go there very often at all :)
