I'm thirty-three here. I must say that so far, I'm loving my thirties the best out of all the decades of my life.

Many of my friends had a hard time turning thirty. I don't really get that.

Anyone else agree?

I turned 30 this past Sept and I had a lot of mixed feelings about it. I was also the only one of my friends unmarried and without a child.....boy - look at me now!! I couldn't be happier. Now I can just blame on the crazy things that happen to me on being 30 - we make jokes out of it now.

Looking back and seeing how sad I was at times almost seems crazy. Now I wouldn't change a minute of it!!

You can count me as one who had a hard time turning 30.... actually, I still claim 29, and I'm 31. Silly, I know, but it was a mental thing for me.

I had a life plan that I would be done having my kids (I want 4) by the time I was 30, so that I would be raising them in my 30's. Well, that didn't work out so well. DH and I have been together since we were 18, but, we had a hard time getting pregnant. When I turned 30 I had a five month old baby who was a preemie and still needed lots of extra care... I was exhausted and depressed. Things were not going according to plan, so I refused to turn 30 until my plans catch up with my age! :o

However, I must say that I am enjoying my 30's now. :D

I'm with you Amy.... 30 was hard for me....

I'm 34 now and I feel like I'm 80. I'm tired all the time and I feel like I am starting to really look my age (even though people still say I look like I'm in my early 20s) I thought that I would have a large family by now but I got started late on the baby thing. I want to have another baby but we are worried about complications.....

The past few years have been some of the best for me though...so I can't complain...lol

I am 34, having a baby now is making me feel so much... Not sure if it is younger or older  .... But it is a small chore.. Luckily I have three older ones to help A LOT :D . They hate it, but it comes with the territory. ;)

Im 34...will be 35 in November. When I turned 30, I was really depressed, but Ive learned so much and "feel" wiser. I look younger, but most times feel older LOL :p
Ive been going through peri-menopause since my late 20's and I think that has a lot to do with it. :(

I'm thankful I'm in my 30s. Life is so much easier than it was in my 20s. In my 30s, I've figured out what I want to do with my life. I'm working, married, and have a house. Life is good! Now, it would be perfect if I started having kids. I've had two miscarriages, and I'm very healthy. So, the only downside to being in my mid-thirties is the old ticking of the biological clock. Also, has anyone noticed that it is so much easier to gain weight, and so much harder to lose weight!!!!!!!!!!!! I've gained 20 pounds since I got married, and that was only 3 years ago! Yikes!

I turned 38 in july, my oldest turned 18 this last friday, i have another child that is 16, and one more that is 11.
I have been married for 13 years, (second Marriage)
turning 30 was the worst of all my birthdays, i couldnt wait to hit my 30's and when i did, i wanted to hide from everything, still dont know why...
But life is so much better now. :)
I think age is just a number, i dont feel 38, and from what my kids say i dont act like i am 38!! must be from being so young when i had them? :D

I'm almost 33. It wasn't hard to turn 30 for me. I like it. What was hard for me was turning 20! I still wanted to be a kid. :)

I had my first child at 17 & then my second at 30. It's definately better at 30. ;) I'm more patient, relaxed, devoted.

I'm happy being in my 30's. :)
