yardwork...woohoo

I feel great with my jumpstart on the yardwork this year. I cutback some trees and raked my heart out. I finished clearing out the sideyard that I started last year. Huuuuge section, but finally cleared out. My body is aching already, but I feel great.

Hoping to tackle the other side in the back and maybe just maybe next year can be all about planting and not about clearing. We've been here two years and I've worked my butt off and just can't believe anyone could let a yard go so bad. The previous owners let everything just grow wild. What an embarrassing surprise when the snow thawed when we first moved in here. :eek:

Very exciting to know that by next year I can be having fun instead of heavy labor hauling.

Great job Sara. Our previous owners hadn't done anything but have the grass cut. I remember seeing pictures of your place last year. Its going to be nice once its all done.

With 2 little dogs and a bunch of kids in the yard (our 2 and visitors), the yard just won't stay clean and picked up.
