Good quality sheets

Years ago I use to purchase sheets that were cheap, usually $19.95.

Then a couple years ago I was able to purchase good quality sheets, with the price well over $150.00 a pair.

What a difference. Its like night and day when you crawl into bed with good quality sheets. One of the best investments I ever made.

From here on in, its good quality sheets for our home.

A friend of mine told me she buys high thread count sheets now too. We desparately need some new sheets ours are thread bare. Maybe I'll ask for those for Christmas. LOL!

We got the more expensive ones at Wal Mart with our tax refund money this year. They are better than the dollar store ones. Maybe someday I'll get the really expensive ones.

We have a set of 550 thread count sheets on the master bed and they are divine. I got them at Marshall's for $59.99! TJMaxx is also a great place to look for the higher thread counts at a great price.

We just moved up to a queen size bed. Bought some flannel martha Stewert sheets & had to return them. I've never seen sheets pill and shed like those, even the lady at the return counter freaked when she saw them,lol. Well anyways I then went to bjs and for $20 more got some 400count sheets (not flannel). I like them except that they are made for super deep pocket beds and mine isn't quite that deep and the bottom sheet stays on but doesn't lie taught and so it has wrinkles. Hoping to shrink them a bit. Sorry for the sheet saga.;)

I'd rather have one good set of sheets per bed than lots of the cheapo ones. We have to have the deep pockets sheets for all the beds and I insist on a high thread count. So far I've always been able to find them on sale. I'm really picky about blankets too. Only like velux (I think that's the name) blankets, no others.

Ewww! Wrinkles are BAD! :mad: I can't stand wrinkles in my sheets, I even pull the sheets taught before climbing in . :D I couldn't afford the high thread counts, but now I have way too many sheets for my bed. When I replace, though, it WILL be with a high thread count! I think the highest I've had so far is 330

I am addicted to t-shirt sheets - I have about 3 sets of them. I also have some 330 thread count sheets that Amazon.com runs some amazing deals on someimes - I got a set of Queen Sheets (Fitted, Flat, and pillow cases) for $25. This is one area I have actually been trying to declutter - DH and I have one bed (no guest bed) and 8 sets of sheets between us. :eek:

I generally purchase cheaper sheets. I bought a very nice set of sheets and the kids ruined them before the second washing. Never again for a LONG time will I spend good money on sheets while I have young children. I don't ever want to cry over a material item again.

I certainly don't buy top of the line sheets for the kids, however I would never go back to cheap sheets for our bed. I'm just about ready to get another set for our bed and plan on looking for top of the line sheets.

I bought 400 thread count sheets the last time I bought and will never have anything less. They feel soooo good when you crawl into that bed. They look new when washed too...I love that.
