Doors are so important in a home

I think doors are so important in a home. They make a home inviting. When I see a nice fancy front door, I'm immediately drawn to the home. When we bought our home, the front door was an old door and in horrible shape. We immediately changed it to a beveled glass door and although more expensive than any of our windows, I love it. Many people have commented on how it made such a change in our home.

Wow those are beautiful doors!! Dh and I are trying to decide on a style for a new front door......he would love it to be as much glass as possible but I am concerned with the safey and privacy issues and would prefer as little glass as possible! I wonder which one of us will win this discussion!!!!:D

We are doing so much remodeling to the house and we can't agree on anything.....I tell him life would be so much easier if he would just do things my way!!!!!

We changed our doors after we moved here last year. I can't find our exact front door (I don't think it's sold anymore), but it's very similar to this style without the side panels or upper panel - http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=70741-42736-70741&lpage=none Our door is still white. We haven't painted it yet, but it will be eventually when we paint the exterior of the house.

Yes I agree, a nice door makes such a difference in the look of a house. Wow, some of those doors in the links....beautiful!

Ours is painted burgundy and has the window on the top. Eventually we would like to put this at the back of the house and get a nice door with a "granny" screen door in front of it. Right now though...the dog scratches...ugh!

I completely agree with you that doors are very important. We are remodeling, and we are changing all the interior doors, and getting a new front door as well.
