Finn died

Alas, our little catfish, which DD#1 named Finn kicked the bucket. We at one time had 3 pretty fish (don't know what kind they were because DH and DDs bought them and could not remember what they were :rolleyes: ) Two were pink and one was blue. We had a hideous algae eater (named Flash! LOL!) Finn and a striped fish DD#1 brought home at the end of last school year.

Well, seems like stripey fish (which DD named "friend") has kille the pretty fish. When we went on vacation, I had turned the heat off while getting ready because I was sweating and forgot to turn it back on. When we got home FLash was dead. :eek: (oops)

Now Finn. DH just emptied the tank ans scrubbed it. He decided he is going to wait for "Friend" (who is not so friendly) to kick before he sets it back up again and get some nice fish.

Alas, the perils of being a fish mom. :p

Sorry about that.

Milo our fish died about a month ago and the kids were quite upset about it. I'm not sure if we will get anymore for right now.

I enjoyed that fish though and so did the kids. There is something about watching fish that is so relaxing.

We had a beautiful aquarium setup. None of the fish had names though. I loved my angel fish. Zachary decided to feed them one day and then they all overate and died. I'd occasionally find a toy floating in the tank too. No fish here for a while. I love them, but it was just too much. :(

I have to tell you though, I love how you name pets. Next time I am in a rut naming my kitties, I'm coming to you for help! :D

LOL! Well our cat is named Tribble (from star trek) and I once had a Scottish Terrier named Stubbie. :p

Yes. It is always sad when our little creatures kick the bucket. I lost a whole tankful when we moved to our trailer years ago including the African brown knife fish I was partial to.
