This isn't a plug for her site, but does anyone here do the FlyLady system (for more info, go to www.flylady.net). I've been doing her program for a while now and I really really enjoy it. I follow my routines and get everything done that I need and am always so happy with it. I do find it fairly easy to fall off the bandwagon, though.

Bright Blessings!

I do some. I'm terrible at homemaking.

No I refuse to get all those e-mails. I tried it and was overwhelmed by all the e-mails I got. I'm much more relaxed in my homemaking. I want to be able to at the drop of a button, play outside with my kids. I want to take time to smell the roses rather than having all these e-mails telling me what to do.

And I go barefoot in the house!! :D

I agree with CJ- too much mail. I get Star organizer now, and I like it better. Flylady drives me nuts!!!

I've tried Flylady, and like some of the ideas, but agree with the posts above about the excessive emails and strict routines. I did the daily 3x5 chore box for a while, too... which is a SHE thing, which is somehow connected to FlyLady. I now use ideas from both of those and just do my own routines.

Nada - I am absolutely 100% a Flylady convert. I got my mother into it. When I first moved in with DH I would just cry at nights because my house was a total mess and somehow I stumbled across her website. I am a lot happier for it. And while I still haven't built a control journal (after a year and a half) I do have own routines, I shine my sink, and I get dressed to the shoes. DH and I used to have horrible blow-out fights about housework once a month, and we have only had one since I began FLYing. That in itself is worth a lot to me.
