I was at DD#1s recital dress rehearsal tonight. The auditorium had the lights down. I took my crocheting because I can't stand just sitting there, and I have an item I need to have done by Monday. It is amazing what you can do when you can't see very well! LOL!

I wish I could crochet in the dark. I'm afraid to even crochet in the evening because I don't have enough light and I might miss a stitch.

Good for you Cheryl.

if it's a simple pattern like a dishcloth or simple afghan, i can crochet in the dark or while watching a soccer game. i finished many a dishcloth during soccer games. keeps my nerves from getting frazzled while watching the kids.

I can do a small amount. I've always worried "what if I was blind?" I know blind people who can do crafts.
