We have one cat. She is 8 years old and is named Sassie. She is a main coon and beautiful. She is a cat with an attitude and is dd's cat really. She goes everywhere she does. When she was little, dd could put doll dresses on her and walk her around in her doll carriage.

Then there is Kyla. Kyla is part lab and part English springer. She loves to "spring" and loves to "dig". And I mean dig. She has holes outside everywhere. She is such a great dog with Michael. He plays with her for hours and she just laps it all up.

I would like to get another English springer in the near future.

We just have Jimmy. He's not quite a year old yet. We love him. He's frisky and has made his way into our heart. Even Gabe who is allergic. :)

We have 2 fish in this big tank. One is an ancient plecostomus (kind of catfish)
that we've had at least 11 years and a swordfish that we've had about 4 or 5years. We really should get some more fish.

We also have a fat cat named Punkin. He just had his 11th birthday and enjoys sleeping, eating & hunting outdoors.

Are you sure you want me to post? You might be soooorrry! :D

We have 13 cats/kittens indoors and we take care of about 22 more outside.

Bubbie is the oldest at 14 and is a mouthy female. She is my best buddy and we have some good conversations.

Squeaker is 11 and is my most 'true cat'. She can give the dirtiest looks! She is 'daddy's girl' but I'll do when he isn't here!

Nicky is my big loveable boy. He is ready for a pet 24/7! He also will sit in the windows for hours calling out to anyone that will listen in this sing song voice! LOL

Snowman is my lazy boy, although when he gets going playing, he can run with the best of them. He also is the most calm with the kittens.

Miss Prissy is exactly THAT! She can scream louder than a screech owl when she wants something, generally out on the porch! If you see Bub, she is generally right there too as they are best buddies.

Olga is a scardey cat! She still won't let me pet her or even get too close to her even though she has been indoors with us for almost 3 years now! She is also the mom of Sidney and Oliver. She talks to me though if she thinks I have something good to eat!

Ralphie is my big boy and daddy to Sidney and Oliver. He also is polydactal, with 6 toes on each paw! His feet look like baseball mitts! LOL He is a sweetie, everytime I walk by him, he rolls over, does this whiney meow and wants a belly rub.

Sidney is my huge boy and way too pretty to be male, LOL He just turned 2 on April 1st. He thinks he his little and can fit anywhere, generally it is on my chest and under my chin! But he gives really nice fish breath kisses!

Oliver is Sidney's brother and about ½ his size, lol You can tell he is Ralphie's son, he is also polydactal with 5 toes on each paw. He just loves his pets too and follows me into the bathroom everytime I go upstairs.

Fonzerelli is just about a year old now. He is a sweetie too with a wild side! He is always waiting at the door when we come home and needs to be picked up and held for at least 15 minutes. But then when I play with him, he can be really agressive and rough and I have the scars to prove it!

Audra is still skidish, probably because she has been sick a lot and needed meds all the time, so she runs when she sees me coming. She is a sweetheart though and will play with me when I go to bed.

Hoss is a doll! We named him Hoss because he was this fat little butterball when we brought him in and now he is this sleek streamlined kitty! He looooooves playing with his paper balls, talk about cheap cat toys!

Peanut is my baby. Although he isn't so little anymore. He had a very bad eye infection and even though he was so small we went ahead and had the vet remove it. Best thing we could have done for him as he has been growing by leaps and bounds ever since and is doing really well with only 1 eye. He has the loudest purr you ever heard too and loves to snuggle!

Can you tell I love talking about my kids? :D

We have 2 cats and 2 dogs.

Mickey is the oldest cat. She's ancient, probably around 20 years old. Very senile and has to have lots of attention. She meows constantly and it drives you up the wall. I'm the one that will sit and hand feed her when she's not in the mood to eat off the dish.

Zoe is Ryan's cat. She's about 8 I think. She's spoiled rotten and must have water directly from the faucet to drink, never from a bowl.

Chloe is our fluffy dog. We got her from an animal rescue shelter. She just had a hair cut and is adorable. She lives to have her tummy rubbed.

Scooter is our beagle/bassett hound. We rescued him as well. He has very twisted front legs but can run like crazy when he wants too. He is ready to take a nap with you anytime you want too.

We have 3 Australian Shepherds......

- Chloe (aka Miss Bear, Chloe Bear, Sassie) She is a black tri and is almost 7.5 years old. She is the laziest of the bunch, but gets rather frisky when she's shaved. She was the runt of her litter so she's the smallest dog. She's a great frisbee dog.

- Ginger (aka Petey, Mabel, Ginger Petey) She is a red merle and is 7 weeks younger than Chloe. She's a scaredy cat of the vacuum and thunder. She's very much got a mothering instinct and thinks she's the cat's momma! We also call her the energizer bunny because she goes and goes and goes outside and just when you think she'd be worn out she goes some more. She likes playing frisbee, but really likes playing with an old worn out football we have.

- Charlie (aka BooBoo or Bubsie) He is a black tri and is a rescue. We got him in Sept. 2002 from the state Aussie rescue group. His original owner lived in an apartment and kept him crated for up to 16 hours a day. A family in the complex convinced the guy to give Charlie to them and they kept him for a bit and then gave him to one of their parents who lived on a farm. They in turn decided they didn't want him, they wanted to travel instead and didn't want to be burdened by him so they turned him over to the state rescue group and we found him listed on Petfinder. He is a very sweet, loving dog. He is like a streak of lightening when he runs and loves to chase the football as well and chew up frisbees. LOL He will be 4 years old in June.

We also have an outdoor cat (an orange tabby) that we inherited when we bought the house. LOL When we were looking at the house, ds would not leave the cat alone (and the cat hated it!). The guy who owned this house is having a house built not far away and his parents live directly east of us (vacant acrage between us and them) and he was going to take his dogs and the cat to stay at their house. He told us if the cat showed back up over here to just call his parents and they would come get it. Dh and I toyed with the idea of asking if he just wanted to let us have the cat and we finally asked and he said sure, if we really wanted him. We surprised ds by letting the guy tell him at the home closing at the title company. The cats name is Tom and we really have no idea how old he is. He's probably going on 2 years old. He gets along well with the dogs, but every now and then gets wild and attacks them. LOL We also call him Squawky because he stands at the dining room door that goes out onto the back porch and yowls when he wants food. He has warmed up to us nicely and rubs on us and lets us love on him. I don't think anyone had really paid much attention to him before.

Oh I love hearing about all your pets.

We have:

One dog Sandy, 10 years old, she is a golden retreiver/Chow, very fluffy, follows me everywhere and very protective of us all.

1 barn cat, Pooh Bear, he's 5 years old. Our other cat has disappeared and we miss her so much.

2 horses, Trigger and Lightening (pinto)...Trigger is 3 and Lightening is 6. We board 2 other horses here as well, General and Buddy.

We have one cat named Pinky who we got from dh's boss.

He's mostly white with a bit of black on his face and a black tail. He's a very paranoid kitty and will jump at the slightest sounds. At night when he knows I'm getting ready for bed he waits at the bottom of the stairs and darts up before me and plops himself on my bed.

I used to have another kitty named Chaplin but he ran away. :(

We have one grey longhaired cat who is 13 years old and is named Tribble (Star Trek fans?). She is decrepit and pees everywhere, but the girls love her. :( We also have one little catfish and one striped fish in our tank. Oh and one hermit crab that I think is still alive.

We have 3 cats..Whiskie is my biggest, most spoiled baby. He tolerates the rest of the family, but if they were all to disappear, Whiskie would not care much LOL. His only concern is that *I* am here. He is a lynx point siamese/silver tabby cross, 16 pounds, with big blue eyes. He is 6 years old.

Pancho is gray and white, and he is my avatar picture on Frugal Village, only because Whiskie won't sit for the camera. Pancho is about a year + half old. He loves the kids more than us. He's a good boy with a funny personality.

Susie is an orange/white shorthair cat who is OUTDOOR only because she refuses to use a litter box. So, come rain, sleet, snow, hail, heat, and dead of night...she is outside. She is about 5 years old and she is very sweet but unfortunately she completely REFUSES the box.

We also have 1 little dog, a mini-dachshund named Shorty. We have had him for 2 weeks now. He is hilarious!

ICK! Whiskie just hopped up here beside me with CAT LITTER on his HEAD! *bleahhh* and he SMELLS! LOL I looked at him and said "shower" and he ran under the bed. He knows what THAT means! LOL!

Lets see.......

We have a black lab named Hoss. He's old,not sure how old but we've had him almost 7 years. He's Steve's dog lol

A cat named Molly who someone dropped off about 2 months ago and got pregnant and became an inside cat with 4 babies....gotta find them new homes soon :(

We have 4 other cats outside, that are wild.No one can pet them.We just feed them and leave them be.

And last but not least is Chloe. She's a 9 week old Yorshire Terrier. She's my baby :) She loves playing, running, sniffing at everything lol and looking outside. She loves being outside but scared of Hoss,so I mostly have to hold her while we're out. When I do let her down, she looks like a rabbit bouncing in the grass sniffing at everything :) So far she's found a turtle and a penny lol

We hve a Welsh Pembroke Corgi named Sassy who is about 9 years old, I think. We got her when she was 4ish and have had her almost 5 years. She is silly and absolute LOVES IT when I strike a match -- she'll come running from whatever part of the house she is in when I shake the match box. Go figure! She also goes nuts when anyone has a flashlight. She was apparently trained to "do her thing" on those doggie house training mats because if she sees a bathmat or throw rug on the floor she "does her thing". And if she doesn't see a mat, then she'll let fly anywhere. Consequently she is confined to the bathroom at night and when we are gone during the day.

We have a white cat named Sugar who is unknown in age. He appeared one day about 5 - 6 years ago. He acts like he is terrified of my husband all the time except in the mornings. We figure DH is shoe-less in the morning and that must be the key. Only in the morning will he interact with DH when he lets him play with him and carry him around the house. Otherwise he thinks of himself as either my cat or my daughter's and sleeps on my daughter's bed. He'll sometimes start out on our bed but runs when my husband comes to bed.

And we have a gray tabby kitten about 5 1/2 months old named Snickers. We found Snickers and two kitty siblings behind our barn in early December. They were barely walking. Their mom did not turn up and when it got very cold we brought them into our house. Then I found a lady who bottle feeds kittens until they are weanable. She got the kittens to an adoptable age, and found homes for the other two. We knew we wanted the gray tabby because she was the only one of the three kittens who "announced" herself and caused the crew to be found -- otherwise we would never have known they were there. We figure she chose to be found by us! When Snickers was a tiny thing my husband started calling her Maria Gambrelli (for a character in a Peter Sellers movie) -- I guess the long name fit the tiny kitten. Anyway, the name became Brellie -- and now we call her Brellie a lot more than we call her Snickers. Snickers/Brellie brought out the "real cat" in Sugar -- he NEVER played until the kitten came along.

We've had numerous outdoor cats since we came to live at our farm, but all of them have disappeared or died terrible deaths. Sugar was an outdoor cat until he refused to come in during a severe ice storm a few years ago. After he stayed out in the ice for 2 days, I made him an indoor cat.

We also have an African Albino frog who was given to us by my son's 4th grade teacher. Not much to tell about him -- his name is Frogbert.

We have 2 American Eskimo dogs and 1 cat

Shadow is the oldest dog at 12, he is really dh dog, as he follows him everywhere..hence the name..if he knows dh is outside during yard work or something he will sit at the door and whine until he comes back in.

Kasper is 7 years old and he does not like strangers at all. He will constanly bark at someone he doesn't know and it takes him a long time to get used to new people...a long time...took him a year to get used to my Dad who comes to my house every Sunday. He is a friendly and hyper dog once he gets used to you.

Hunter is a stray cat that we found at our other house and has fat & lazy. Don't know his exact age but some where around 6 or 7

I have one spoiled rotten 11 yrs old cat named Archie,or his Royal Highness Archibald Anthony. He's brown/black and fluffy. He loves to sit by the window and watch all the birds and soak up all the sun. He is always purring and meowing. He also loves to play with paper balls. I say wanna play "paper's?" and he gets all excited.

We also have one 2 yrs old hamster named Twiggy or twiggybell marie, lol. She is all tan and has one black eye and one red eye.

We also have 2 goldfish, whose names change often i think this week thier names are john and emily. LOL I used to have some african frogs but they died. I made a mistake darnit. they were neat.

I am afraid of what I'd get if i actually bought a house! Chinchilla's are neat! Has anyone ever held one? they are soooooooo soft. I feel bad my children desperately want a dog. In the past i've had rabbits, other hamsters and fish. I also lived with my aunt who had numerous dogs and cats. Were a big animal loving family.

We have a German Shepherd who is 2 years old named Bryan, he was a rescue. He was fed rotten meat and tied up in a barn when his family hired someone to watch him when they went on vacation.

Just got a new German Shepherd mix (female) through the Shamrock Foundation, she is now 14 weeks old and named Marion.

Both of the pups are being trained in Search and Rescue!

My first baby is Ginger, a female kitty who is orange with white tips, she's beautiful and about 8-9 years old now.

My second baby is Kyra who is a mixed kitty. She is a black and white tabby who is also between 8-9 years old.

We have one outdoor cat named Pablo. He came with the house. Originally belonged to the next door neighbors but ran away from home when they took in a cat who had babies in their garage. They had a doggie door for him and kept food, water, litter, and a bed in their garage but after we moved here he just went home less and less.He would camp out under our deck so finally we just moved him into our garage. He will go over and let them pet him now and again but comes right back when he is done. He is 15 or 16 yr. old, black with white nose and paws.

We have a Jack Russel/German Shepherd mix named Sasha. Got her from the animal shelter. She is about 4 with Jack Russel looks and Shepherd size. She is a prima donna who thinks the world revolves around her.

And then there is Victor. Our 140 lb. Great Dane who was a rescue. He was in a foster home. When we went the 4 hr. trip to get him we had to take Sasha along to make sure they were compatable. They have been inseperable since. Victor is a Mamas boy. Takes my arm in his mouth regularly during the day and leads me to the couch where he attempts to put his big self in my lap. He is VERY protective of me. He is 4 yr. also.

My furbaby, Tempest, is the apple of mine and my husband's eye. He's four years old, a big chubby grey cat. He considers anything he stands on his own private property and that pretty much includes everything but the television and our two computers. It DOES, however, include my husband and I! :p

Bright Blessings!

I have a black cat named Arwen who is going to be 4 this fall. I also have two black and tan chihuahuas. BonZai, the eldest, is 8 lbs and will be 5 on June 15th. Gypsy, who weighs in at a massive 4 lbs will be 3 on Sept. 9th. Each of the dogs gets a trip to PetCo with mom and dad to pick out a new toy and to get a treat. The cat does not admit her age, therefore has no birthday parties. I think I still have critter pictures in my webshots album.

I have one cat, Oscar. He's an orange tabby approximately 15 years old. I got him when he was 1 1/5 and I was living on Okinawa. I'm not a very social person, so when my husband was in the military I got him to keep me company while my hubby was tdy all the time. Oscar has saved my sanity countless times.

My son also has 3 nameless guppies. :)

One cat named Hershey (because she's a beautiful, rich dark chocolate brown). She is 12 years old, so I'm reading up on aging issues of cats. We have been blessed that she has always been in good health and continues to be, but is slowing down. We even moved to a new apartment with her in January. This wasn't the first time we moved with her, but were a little concerned because we had heard horror stories of cats (especially older ones) not moving well. But she is more bonded to us than to location and we tried to keep her with us as much as possible during the moving process. We brought her box and scratching post and had her over here while we were moving in boxes and unpacking. The first night we had trouble getting her to go back to the old place. But she really likes to look outside and she now has two places (a patio door and bedroom window) that she can look out without having to jump. Bob even put the bed in the window for her -- so it's just a short step into the window.

She has always acted like royalty and continues to rule the house. I love her beautiful long hair, but if we have another cat later I think I'm getting a short hair. I'm always chasing little clumps of dark fur on beige carpet.

We have a 12 yr. old cat who has always lived outside due to her refusal to be litter trained. She's a very sweet kitty, but getting old and decrepid now.

Heidi is my 2 yr. old poodle and my constant companion. She is cream colored with a bit of apricot in her ears. She's very smart and has a very cute personality. Her summer time job is to herd the frogs into the swimming pool. She's always so proud of herself when she accomplishes this.
