<tt>Bird Food Balls
Materials:
2 pounds ground suet
2 cups peanut butter
1/3 cup molasses
1/4 cup bacon drippings
1 pound old-fashioned rolled oats
1 1/4 cups cornmeal
bird feed with sunflower seed
In saucepan over medium heat, melt suet. Strain into large bowl. Add peanut butter, molasses, bacon drippings, oatmeal and cornmeal. Add enough bird feed to be able to roll mixture into balls. Roll into 2 inch balls. Coat with bird feed while warm. Chill. Tie ribbon or string around the balls.
