Our home was built in the 50's. The 50's weren't the most pretty of times. lol
I love the layout of our house, but much of the house is seriously outdated.

Anyone else have a 50's home not updated?

Well Sara, ours is twice has old as yours. A lot of outdated stuff in our home too. Slowly were getting things changed.

It takes time doesn't it to get things updated.

Ours was built in 1981 and is badly outdated even for being that young.

The rent house on our property was built in the 50s. We don't live in it though.

Ours wasn't built in the 50's but it was renovated in the 50s (it was already 60 years old by then.)

So we do have some hideous things going on in our house, ut slowly, slowly, we are phasing them out and Victorian back in.
