Last night, we needed to get Zachary a new booster seat. The plan was for Ally to use Zachary's old seat because she is growing out of her current seat.

Wellll, she was very very upset that she couldn't have a new booster seat. I've never seen her so upset over anything. She just kept crying that she wanted a booster. lol

Gabe was explaining to her that she was too little for a booster, but she didn't care. She just kept crying.

I'm hoping this isn't an issue everytime we get in the car. It didn't help that Zachary was exclaiming how much he loves his new booster. ugh

Sometimes it's just difficult teaching my kids that not everything is going to be even and fair. I don't ever want one of them to feel I have a favorite either.

Awe poor Ally. It is so difficult when that happens and yet they have to learn too. Hopefully she'll be fine after a couple trips.

Cute Zachary too!! ;)

That will happen a lot Sara, down through the years. Even though our youngest almost never got anything "new" like that the older kids still say she was spoiled. Sssooooo, you just do the best you can with what you've got. I was always concerned about one of mine feeling that one of the others was the fav. or that one was the least fav. too. But they all tell me now that they know they were all loved equally.

Poor Ally. I know your pain, Mommy. We've had a few of those episodes here and it makes me sad, but you gotta hold your ground, (which I know you do.) They'll be better young adults for it.

Well, today she got a new to her trike and Barbie stuff and Zachary didn't get anything. In all fairness, Zachary needs a new bike too. I'll be hunting for one for him, but he handled her getting "new" stuff pretty well.

She did try to sneak into his booster today though. He keeps going on and on about his new cupholder.

I wish you could hear them when we're on a drive. Ally will say..I've got the sun on my side and Zachary will say well I have more trees, and Ally will say well I have clouds, and Zachary will say well I have a cow, and it just goes on and on.

Earlier before we even left the house it was Zachary has a hat, where's my hat and most days it's he has his sunglasses, where are mine? lol Dinner time, I swear they count who has more peas. lol
